2021 has much to look forward to.
On campus it will mean the fruition of many years of planning, hard work and dedication from numerous and diverse College Staff working alongside our experienced Contractors with the rejuvenation of School House on track to be completed in the Spring.
Just before Christmas even Tier 4 restrictions couldn’t stop our first College Headmaster, Reverend Richard Alliott, from ‘safely’ taking up his prime and permanent position in the Reception of School House. Generations of Old Stortfordians, Staff and Parents will recognise his bust and the fireplace from its previous homes within School House during its days as a boarding house and more latterly when it was located within our HE & Careers Department.
Now that Revd. Alliott is securely and safely in place the final works can be undertaken to finish the vast conversation of our original School Building into 12 new state of the art classrooms and the offices of the Head and College Professional Services.
We avidly await the unveiling of the completed works on School House that will rightly reinstate it as the heart of the College campus for future generations to come!
