Connecting Generations, Building Futures

Our mission is to support the College in delivering an exceptional educational experience that uncovers and optimises every pupil's strengths.

We aim to ensure this incredible opportunity is available to future generations of Stortfordians from a range of diverse backgrounds. Contributions to our general and unrestricted fund are crucial in helping the College prepare for the future and enhance financial resilience. Donations to the 'Where The Need Is Greatest' fund provide flexibility, allowing the College Executive and Governors to allocate resources to the most pressing need at the time.

'Fortnight of Giving' Campaign

The College’s Fortnight of Giving campaign 1 – 14 April 2025

We invite our community to participate in this year’s Fortnight of Giving Campaign between 1 and 14 April 2025, which will focus on generating the funds needed to significantly enhance and develop the Doggart Pavilion, while continuing our bursary provision to give families access to a College education. As part of this initiative, a member of our friendly team of recent College graduates will be contacting members of the community by telephone to inform them about our plans.

The College’s Fortnight of Giving will help us to navigate the inevitable pressure resulting from recent fiscal changes. We want to keep fees affordable for all parents while continuing to develop our estate for the benefit of all students, alumni, and the local community. By supporting this initiative, you could help us to realise the exciting Doggart Pavilion project and transform this historic area of our campus into a facility which can fully cater for a variety of sports, promoting pupil health and wellbeing for years to come. Our bursary scheme provides truly transformative opportunities for children who would otherwise not be able to learn and study at the College. Since the introduction of VAT on fees, this vital programme increasingly relies on fundraising support. Your help could contribute to the cost of supporting one Prep School pupil progressing through to Sixth Form, and one for a Sixth Form student, which will have a lifelong impact on these children.

Collectively, small regular donations can have a significant impact on the lives of our pupils. Your gift can enhance the skills and experiences Stortfordians carry into society upon leaving school, allowing them to make their positive mark on the world around us.

Even a small amount (equivalent to the price of a cup of coffee) each month can make a significant difference once Gift Aid has been reclaimed; alternatively, a single one-off gift is also a terrific way to demonstrate your support.

You can learn more about our Fortnight of Giving Campaign in our campaign brochure.
