Our goal is to cultivate and nurture an engaged and generous community prepared to support the College in delivering its educational and life-empowering mission, and in doing so, help ensure that this amazing opportunity is available to future generations.
Every Christmas Carol Service, Harvest Festival, Remembrance Service, Spring Term Choral Concert along with numerous assemblies are accompanied by the notes from our magnificent organ in the Memorial Hall. With the march of time, the organ has aged considerably whilst being put under increased pressure; the cost of maintenance and repair is spiralling, with no guarantees of perfect working order anymore. The working future of the organ is in grave doubt.
The addition of a new digital organ for the Memorial Hall will ensure our community of pupils, parents past and present, Old Stortfordians and staff members will be able to enjoy our beloved services and concerts in full in the Memorial Hall for generations to come. The original organ will remain in-situ to mark its place in our history as we look to the future of sound and song in the Hall.
Your gift will secure the future of our ability to provide meaningful musical opportunities for the community to celebrate together, give thanks together and remember together in our most central and iconic of buildings.
If you would like further information on this campaign please do not hesitate to contact a Foundation team member on firstname.lastname@example.org where we will be glad to discuss this further.
The Gift of an Education
It has always been our belief that bursaries are crucial for supporting talented children from less advantaged backgrounds, who would thrive at Bishop’s Stortford College given the opportunity to do so.
Our vision is to increase the level of bursarial support that we provide, so that no child deserving of a place here is unable to take this opportunity based on affordability.
We are united in the aim of supporting the continued success of the College now and for generations to come. To continue to attract gifted students and the highest caliber of academic staff we are committed to a continued investment in the development of the College. However, all this comes at a cost and the reality is that, as a school, we receive in fee income considerably less than we need to spend.
The Annual Fund gives our community the opportunity to support the school in a way that allows the College to invest where the need is greatest, to ensure the enhancement of the school's educational provision and extracurricular activities.
2021 School Fee Rebate Donations – to Benefit Stortfordian Foundation Bursaries
Bishop’s Stortford College has been able to make modest savings over the past term, and as a result, a fee rebate for all pupils has been announced for the Spring 2021 term.
The past year has been a challenging time for many families, and we are aware that some in our Stortfordian community may find themselves impacted financially by the pandemic more than others.
If your family is in the fortunate position of being able to afford full fees, please consider gifting the value of your child’s fee rebate to benefit the Stortfordian Foundation Bursary Fund. Our aim is that where help is needed, we can provide it, and our hope is that no family will be forced to withdraw their child due to temporary financial pressures caused by Covid-19.
Thank you for your generosity in these unprecedented times.
Please contact email@example.com for more information, or for confirmation of your child's rebate amount.
