I pondered on the following reading earlier this week, “Let us then come with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (Heb 4:16)
And it struck me that humanly speaking it's a contradiction. When asking for mercy & grace the last thing one is, is confident. Asking means we've messed up. Yet when we take our eyes off our imperfections and look instead at His perfect love, we can confidently ask.
With half term rapidly approaching, this lockdown has been the hardest one yet for everyone to endure, so I thought it would be good for us to meet over zoom and pray for the College Community.
