The Old Stortfordian Lodge was founded in April 1938 with the aim of maintaining close relations with the College. Its current Lodge Secretary Stephen Appelman Kt. recently met with Britt Ellice, the Stortfordian Foundation's Director of Development.
As can be seen from this photograph taken in School House, at the meeting Stephen very generously handed Britt a cheque for £2000 towards the Memorial Hall Organ Fund appeal. We are extremely grateful to the OS Lodge for their generosity.
Stephen shared the wonderful news that the OS Lodge would very much like to explore opportunities with the College, to potentially provide financial assistance to young OS in the future, based on sporting or academic achievement. It is expected that further details regarding the award will be made available by the OS Lodge following their next meeting in March.
