Rory Galloway has recently travelled to Seattle to pick up a Gold Award at the international Kavli Science Journalism Awards for a BBC Radio 4 programme he produced called A Sense of Time. The programme looks at how different species experience time and was inspired by a flock of swifts Rory had filmed in Bishop’s Stortford. You can listen to the award-winning programme now on the BBC Sounds app.

Congratulations Rory!
