Global superstar OS Charli XCX (GH,BH, 99-10) is influencing not only the music scene but also shaping the US political landscape.
Receiving a Mercury Prize nomination for her influential album ‘Brat’, Charli rides the crest of the success of, debatably, her most influential album to date. Taking an introspective look at social anxiety, body image and career insecurities, Charli’s sixth album has debuted in the Top 10 on both sides of the Atlantic and has born the phenomenon that is ‘Brat Girl Summer’, even Kamala Harris has endorsed her support of all things ‘Brat’. A phenomenon that gives the opportunity to put the strive for perfection on hold, to be unapologetically yourself and to live your life to the fullest for your own satisfaction.
Recognising the best British or Irish album of the last twelve months, OS Charli XCX is one of 12 Mercury Prize nominees, with the winner due to be announced in September.
Sending huge congratulations to Charli on her nomination and wishing her every success at the awards in September.
