Sun was shining on Bishop’s Stortford Golf Club as the OS Golf Society faced College Staff in their annual tournament.

A talented field of 28 golfers tackled the ups and downs of the fairways, with varying levels of satisfaction in good natured competition in glorious surroundings.

It was all to play for with the OS holding both the Team and Best Golfer trophies from 2022 and after a delicious meal in the Clubhouse, the hotly anticipated results were announced:

Winning Team: College Staff with a score of 596 vs OS score of 580

Best Golfer: OS Darren Winstone (MJH,SuH, 83-90)

Runner-up Best Golfer – OS Robert Smith (MJH,SuH, 95-02)

Longest Drive – OS Charlie Evans (WH,HH,15-22)

Nearest the Pin – OS Darren Winstone (MJH,SuH, 83-90)

Congratulations to the whole College Staff team and the outstanding OS winners and a huge thanks to all the OS & Staff players who participated in such an enjoyable and memorable day.
