In celebration of Walter Strachan's friendship with acclaimed artist and sculptor Henry Moore,
the 2025 Diamond Lunch will be hosted at the Henry Moore Studios & Gardens in Perry Green, Much Hadham.
After a guided walking tour of the studios and sculpture gardens, guests will enjoy an afternoon tea in the visitors centre.
Event itinerary
11-11.30am Arrivals at the venue
12pm Group walking tour of sculpture gardens and workshops departs from the Visitors Centre
1.30pm Afternoon Tea in the Visitors Centre with an opportunity to view a small archive display specific to the life of Walter Strachan.
3.30pm Event Close with opportunity to walk around grounds further.
Group Tour & Afternoon Tea - £30/pp (full event cost subsidised by the College)
In a change to the format of the annual Diamond Lunch, the event will be hosted on an alternate year basis at the College (even years starting in 2026) and at locations of interest to the Old Stortfordian Community aged 60 and over (odd years starting in 2025).
Event numbers strictly limited to 40 by the venue.
Further event information and official invitations to all OS from the Classes of 1983 and upwards has been sent via post and email.
Opportunity to book College minubus transfer from and to Bishop's Stortford Station if required.
