On Sunday 10th December the OS will return to the stunning College pitches!

Once again we will enjoy two rugby matches instead of just one. The College 'Leavers' (U6th) will play the 'Remainers' (L6th) in the first match of the day at 1pm and the OS will follow at 2.30pm with an OS Under 23 team playing those aged over 23. The really positive benefit of this recent change to RFU rules  being that we can now welcome a broader age range of OS to play in the match.

At the conclusion of the OS match it will be our great honour to present  ‘The Billy Hookway Trophy’ to the victorious OS team. A trophy which has been generously donated by Wendy & Alan Hookway and Sarah Barrett (nee Hookway) (YH, 96-98) and dedicated in loving memory of their Son & Brother, Billy Hookway (HH,00-02) who sadly passed away in August 2020 at the age of just 36.

Billy was a key and hugely popular member of the legendary unbeaten College 1st XV Rugby team of 2001 and a very proud Husband and Father to four young Daughters. He formed strong and lasting friendships during his time at the College and was liked and respected by all.

We are really looking forward to the OS taking to the Witherden field pitch once again and do hope that lots of members of the College community will come along and support the teams.

A food truck will be there to offer some delicious food and drinks for sale to keep out the winter chills.

The Rugby action 'kicks off' at 1pm - looking forward to seeing lots of spectators and players on the big day!
