Vinha do Falesia (Vineyard of the Cliffs)

Our beautiful vineyard sits atop dramatic cliffs with stunning views that sweep south across the Atlantic.

Vinho do Falesia is the southernmost vineyard in Portugal, and closest to the sea, providing a unique terroir for our vines, which are blessed with a fortuitous combination of the elements: year-round sunshine, cool sea breezes, divergent day and night temperatures, schist-based soil and natural irrigation. 

Falesia wines are produced both in a Premium range and a Reserva range, with our Reserva wines being matured in oak barrels of varying ages and for varying periods: 4-6 months for white and 12-15 months for red. Our unique terroir together with the years of experience of our winemaker Pedro, enable us to produce unique and exciting award-winning wines.

Our white wines are a blend, combining Sauvignon Blanc and a famous Portuguese grape, Arinto; our red wines are a blend combining Syrah (Shiraz), Cabernet Sauvignon and, once again, a famous Portuguese grape, Touriga Nacional. Our Premium blush rose is produced from a single grape, Portuguese Negro Mole, which hails from Madeira.

Premium Range: Red, White and Rose. Our special Old Stortfordian price is £8 per bottle, in cases of 6 bottles, and with free delivery.

Reserva Range: Red and White. Our special Old Stortfordian price is £10 per bottle, in cases of 6 bottles, and with free delivery.
